We are a group of five girls under the name rmc202b1. Our names are Anne G, Margot vW, Hanneke vS, Fardau P and Ida dK. We are all in the age of 20-25 and we live in Haarlem, Amsterdam and Noordwijk aan zee.

This period of the second year at the MIM we will write a marketingcommunication plan for O’Neill and create a campaign to promote the new summercollection of 2008 for girls. The target group of this project are girls from 17 – 20 years old. This is the target group because O’Neil hasn’t got a connection with these girls in this age category.

We also have to find out if the new medium of O’Neill, a tv channel on the internet called O’Neill TV, adresses to the target group. Another thing we have to find out are three things among the target group that are seen as ‘cool’.

We have to keep in mind that the campaign we have to create  can’t be frightening to the core surfers and boarders. These are the people who are always in the water or snow to do their sports. This people don’t buy things from O’Neill because it’s cool but because they really need it for their sports.

When all the research is done, we answered the questions of O’Neill as good as we can, the marketingcommunicaitonplan is written and we have to give a presentation to the board of O’Neill in the real O’Neill building. We hope they will like it!
